Arbeiter Zeitung (Workers' Newspaper)

A daily, the Central Organ of the Austrian Social-Democrats, published in Vienna from 1889. During the First World War it took a social-chauvinist stand.

It was closed down in 1934 for its opposition to Fascism and resumed publication in 1945 as the Central Organ of the Socialist Party of Austria.
