Labor Age Cartoons: Scanned from the original pages at Tamiment Library. This pamphlet consists of 12 cartoons taken from Labor Age of 1931 and 1932. Plus 3 pages of text. No table of contents. Below is a table of contents. UNFORTUNATELY, some unspeakably stupid and incompetent individual, in an imbecilic effort at "restoration" of torn pages, managed to put utterly needlessy HUGE pieces of archival tape OVER THE ART when repairing tears. These "repairs" were unequivocal examples of truly criminal stupidity. Total lack of any common sense. This tape has distorted significant areas of a good fraction of the cartoons in these scans. Eventually I will replace these images with images scanned from the original issue (which I have for 1931) or from Greenwood Reprints (which I will use for the images from 1932 issues. T%he UTTER CONTEMPT I have for the mouthings of some librarians at some institutions about trying to "consevrse" and "preserve" their collections, while at the same time keeping their collections from being properly scans, can be seen to come in part from such crminal stupidity by librarians as evidenced in this volume. mg March 2014 Brooklyn NY Contents of Labor Age: p01 cover p02 Introductory note by Louis F Budenz "The Why of This Book" p03 "Bankers Baby Bonds" by Phil Liss - Labor Age, April 1932 [damaged by tape] p04 "The Puppet Show" (J.P.
