The Socialist Standard, the official organ of the Socialist Party of Great Britain (SPGB), has been published continuously in London on a monthly basis since 1904. The Socialist Party of Great Britain (SPGB) was formed in that year as a breakaway from the Social Democratic Federation, the first organisation to propagate Marxist ideas in Britain.
